Join our community in restoring and preserving the habitats of Maywood Environmental Park.

Adopt-a-Habitat is a summer-long land steward opportunity for individuals, families, and groups who want to give time to our community through invasive species removal in the park.

Participants are assigned a section of the work area to steward throughout the summer. During that time, they will work to pull invasive species such as garlic mustard and Dame’s Rocket from their area.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in a flexible volunteer opportunity. Work can be completed anytime the park is open.

Training and equipment is provided.

An informational gathering and training will be held Saturday, May 2 at 10am.
