Settle into the stillness of winter with a yoga practice incorporating mindful outdoor movement, slow flow, and restorative poses. Participants should bring a yoga mat, two blocks, a pillow, a strap, and a blanket. Instructor Barbara Holt is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) with over a decade of experience teaching yoga and meditation in a variety of settings. Barbara is an iRest Level 2 teacher.

Boozhoo akina awiya (Hello everybody), Come and join the fun as we explore Ojibwe history with guest presenters Roxanne and Chad. Listen to traditional Ojibwe stories only told during the winter months (aadizookaanan), sing songs in Ojibwemowinm, and learn about sovereignty and treaties. Finally, we will share the importance of offering tobacco (asemaa), and have all participants create a personal tobacco tie. This session will take place indoors.
