12:30pm -1:30pm Keynote Speaker Mariette Nowak at Maywood (indoors)
11am-12:30pm and 1:30-3pm Live Music by Eric (Guitar/Vocals) & Cory (Upright Bass) from The Belle Weather. Music located on the front lawn – bring your lawn chairs or use park benches
11am-3pm at Maywood:

Keynote Speaker
Mariette Nowak
Author of “Birdscaping for Wisconsin and the Great Lakes Region“
Mariette will be presenting on creating a pocket prairie in your yard. She will discuss the best plants to provide a feast of insects and seed for prairie birds.
Presentation will begin at 12:30pm in the Pavilion at Maywood.

Ralph’s Prairie
W3143 Cty Rd FF, Howard Grove

This well-established, 2-acre prairie was seeded by hand in 1995 by Randy Powers, founder of Prairie Future Seed Co.
Sheboygan Water Utility Site
4015 Erie Ave, Sheboygan
This 1-acre prairie was developed to reduce maintenance needs around the water reservoirs. It was seeded in 2009. This site along with the nearby Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation beds are examples of how our local municipalities are incorporating native plantings for practical purposes.
