Programs at Maywood
We believe stewardship of our natural resources is a lifelong opportunity. Maywood offers seasonal programs for children, adults, families, and groups. The goal of each program is to help individuals find a personal connection with the natural world around them.
Guided Walks
Lead by Maywood staff, Master Naturalists, or volunteers, participants will enjoy walks that highlight the park’s seasonal changes.
Self-guided Hikes
Seasonal self-guided hikes are offered periodically throughout the year. These hikes are available during regular park hours, 4am-10pm daily. Check our events calendar for scheduled events.
Scoping the Skies
During summer months, members of the Sheboygan Astronomical Society offer viewing sessions in the parking area. Check our events calendar for upcoming sessions.
Summer Day Camps with Camp Y-Koda
Children ages 7-14 will enjoy weekly themed camps that include plenty of time in nature. More Info.
Y-koda Nature School at Maywood
Sheboygan Area School District, Camp Y-Koda and Maywood Environmental Park partner to offer a tuition-free, nature-based 4K program located at Maywood. More Info.

OWLS
Our Older, Wiser, Livelier, Scholars (OWLS) participants meet weekly September-May. The program covers seasonal topics with education, hands-on activities, and low-impact hikes. Open to all adults.
YOGA
Instructor Barbara Holt offers yoga for a variety of skill levels.
