Each March, visitors can enjoy the sweet tradition of maple sugaring at our Flapjack Day and Pancake Breakfast. Flapjack Day began in 1986 and has been a yearly tradition ever since.
Mature sugar maple trees are tapped on-site and the sap is then processed into maple syrup in the Dave Kuckuk Sugar House. Guided tours and activities provide guests with an up-close view of the process.
A pancake breakfast fundraiser is also served that day. Visitors enjoy eating pancakes topped with the maple syrup that is created at the park.
