Scott Sillett is a research wildlife biologist and head of the Migratory Bird Center, a research unit of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute in Washington, DC. He earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1989, a M.S. from Louisiana State University in 1992, and a Ph.D. from Dartmouth College in 2000. Scott joined the Migratory Bird Center in 2002.
